Have been experimenting with my new camera - am not at all keen on the flash so this one has been taken in front of our fire place and without flash. I really like it...

This little fellow I discovered when I was out looking for a photographic opportunity! I have never seen a whte spider before but understand that this one (often called a crab spider) will change its colour to suit the occasion - not sure if this is so OR in fact it always looks like this but it was very beautiful...

stormy end to november...

This was the evening sky over our lake last Thursday - quite beautiful. Moments earlier there was a PINK (edged slightly with blue) rainbow going up nearly vertically from the horizon into the sky - unfortunately I was unable to capture it as we were too close to houses and had to wait till we made it to the lake - guess I did get beautiful reflections though...

Spotted this old timer on the way home from Bendigo. It is near Rushworth. I think it tells a lot about Australia in the past...
